Over 100 years ago, this material was developed for outdoor enthusiasts. It features a two-layer construction with a cotton knit (known as rassell knit) on the surface and wool fleece on the back, similar to the structure of a sweatshirt. The majority of the fabric composition is fleece, accounting for over 70%, and the strong brushing process gives it exceptional durability that is unexpected for a knitted product. The surface of the fabric is created by twisting together two different yarns of different thicknesses, resulting in a distinctive texture known as "goma-shio" or sesame-salt, unique to BROWN'S BEACH. The model is a vest with a high neckline commonly seen in garments produced in the 1920s to 1930s. It features DOT brand nipple buttons (MADE IN USA), original tape, and the back cinch remains unchanged. By slightly shifting the position of the front pockets towards the center, we have faithfully reproduced the atmosphere of that era.
